The RFM is a place where:

Local food growers, producers and harvesters prosper by finding local marketplaces for their products;
Temiskaming and area residents have access to purchasing high quality, nutritious, locally grown, harvest processed foods and artisan products;
Temiskaming residents understand the value of supporting the local economy by purchasing locally grown food and supporting locally handmade products;
Sustainable farming and local food production expand as more people choose to enter these professions;
Relationships between vendors and consumers grow, nourish and inspire our local community;
People share critical knowledge and create conversations required to initiate progress towards sustainability.

Mission Statement

The RFM is a local not for profit organization that creates a local Northern food economy that promotes healthy sustainable food production grown on the land in the local area. We are working towards fostering an economically, ecologically, culturally and socially sustainable community.

Vision Statement

The RFM creates and nurtures a family market atmosphere by providing a local sustainable food economy in a vibrant diverse inclusive market at Riverside Place on the mouth of the Wabi river.
