Riverside Farmers Market
"Building Community and Sustainability Through Local Goods"
The Riverside Farmers Market is more than just a place to shop—it’s a community where local food growers, producers, and artisans thrive.

Here, Temiskaming and area residents enjoy access to high-quality, nutritious foods and beautifully crafted products, all while supporting the local economy. By choosing local, we’re fostering sustainable farming practices, encouraging more people to join these essential professions, and creating a future rooted in sustainability.

Our market isn’t just about goods—it’s about relationships, shared knowledge, and the conversations that inspire progress in our community. Let’s keep growing together!

Land Acknowledgment
The Riverside Farmers’ Market acknowledges the land where we grow and gather food that sustains us. We hold our market on the mouth of the Wabi River and Lake Temiskaming, the traditional and unceded treaty territory of the Algonquin People, specifically the Timiskaming First Nation.

We acknowledge the original peoples have been stewards and caretakers of these lands and water since the beginning. We respect their history, language and culture.

We honour and respect and say chi-miigwetch to the original peoples of this region where we operate the Riverside Farmers’ Market and affirm our commitment and responsibility to reconciliation.
